Homebrew Cloin Species Details
Cloins are a rare race of humanoid beings. They act with knowledge that most couldn't comprehend. Hailing from an unknown plane of existence, they act with a grace not dissimilar to elves, especially on the battlefield, where they feel at home.
Beauty to Behold: Cloins are unnaturally attractive, whether by the way they speak, or their actions; most creatures can't help, but find their presence both enjoyable and comforting. Most Cloins aren't shorter than 5 feet, nor taller than 7. Their weight is almost impossible to ascertain, as they seem to be heavy enough to cause strain against those that try to lift them, yet light enough to fly without wings nor magic. Males are typically taller than females. Much like Humans or Elves, their skin coloration varies widely. Most have dark shades of hair, but some have been seen with locks ranging from ashen white to viridian green. Any battle worthy attire will please their dress desires; however, they will refuse to wear anything those of the same economic class could not afford, even if they themselves can.
Eternal Eyewitness: A Cloin's lifespan is eternal, though they are not immortal. These everlasting lifespans allow them to learn and perfect any art they set out to learn. They reach maturity around 15 years of age, after which, they may halt their physical aging. While they can wait till time dies away, they are aware that other races don't have that luxury, and treasure the time they share, even with their enemies. A Cloin's skills are mostly combat oriented, but their flexibility with those skills stems from the creativity granted by eternal life. Leave it to a Cloin to paint a masterpiece using a Glaive and a battlefield.
Always on the Move: Cloins seem to find comfort anywhere they are, from palaces to graveyards. As long as they have a place they may relax after a hard won battle, they are content. They enjoy these comforts as they seems unable to return home, but that fact does not seem to phase them. The company of other races is never rejected, but they are a proud race. Insults directed at them fail to offend, but at others of their race will be met with vengeance. This pride stems from all Cloins serving under a single royal family. This just family of rulers has caused Cloins to rejoice in what they are.

Sight Beyond Sight
Cloins are not foolish enough to rely solely on a single sense in any instance. Some have trained themselves to see without light, while others have learned to see without eyes. You have your choice of one of the following; 60 feet of darkvision, 10 feet of blindsight, or 30 feet of tremorsense.

Cloin Anatomy
Your anatomy grants you a myriad of benefits. Your skin is like metal, making your base AC 13 + your Dex Modifier. When using your claws (no action required) your unarmed attacks deal 1d8 + Strength modifier slashing damage. You are immune to non-magical disease and gain an extra 3 hit points per level.
Natural Talent
When rolling for stats, you add the sum of 4d6. If all 4 dice match, add a fifth.
Unnatural Potential
You have no maximum Ability Score.
Draconian Blood
Naturally, Cloins have the physical appearance of well built humans; however, this visage hides a Dragon underneath. Choose a type of Chromatic or Metallic dragon to share your bloodline with. When you take damage associated with your Draconian Bloodline, you are treated as resistant to that damage; however, if you would take damage greater than or equal to 5 times your Proficiency Bonus you transform into your draconic form. For one minute you have immunity to the damage type associated with your bloodline (which negates any damage you would have taken over what caused you to transform). You grow scales and wings, which grants you a +2 bonus to AC and allows you to Dash as a bonus action up to your Flying speed. Additionally, you gain a breath weapon; once during this transformation, as an action, you exhale energy in a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot line (your choice). Creatures caught in this area must succeed a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your Con mod + your Prof. mod) or take your associated elemental damage equal to half your level (rounded up) in d6. This transformation ends if you reach 0 hit points or after one minute; after which you cannot transform this way again until you finish a long rest.
