Homebrew Andromedian Mechanicals Species Details

A large robotic looking species, usually a dark metallic color with bright accents upon them. The metal tends to glint and shimmer as if it were alive and sometimes molding into shapes impossible for normal metallic structures.
They are born from a mix of metal and a bio-chemicals within the Andromeda galaxy. They are large, standing at an average of 8'1" and a weight of 230 lbs. These robots have no gender and reproduce through asexual means, meaning family does not exist within their system. These robots take many forms, though the majority stand upright - bipedal. 
Some are quadrupeds, looking as if they're centaurs and some simply look alien-like. Though a common theme is in which division they're from. The species Is separated into 4 groups - Humanoids, Aliens, Predators and Prey.

History
Andromedians are a proud fighting race, they fight for their freedom and choice. They tend to be peaceful unless provoked and tend to pack quite a punch. However, like all races, everyone is different and discrimination tore them apart from the inside out, waging wars against the 4 sub-races. This lead to them being few and far, scattered across galaxies either solo or in small groups. Rarely will you ever see 2 different sub-races with each other, and if you do, the try not to cross paths.

Society
Andromedians travel solo, preferring their own company over that of others, however when they are a group, they all band together to make decisions that will benefit them and those around them. These creatures have a fair and just system, however each group runs things according to their collective morals. This species will always strive to protect others and guard those needed.

Names
The Andromedian species have names like the human species does, though their names usually correspond to their appearance. For example, if an Alien were to be named and had aspects of an insect, then the name will correspond to which insect it closely matched, eg; Ant, Louse, Caterpillar, etc.

These robots are large and intimidating creatures, ranging from 8 to 11 feet and weighing well over 250 lbs. You are large.
