Humans of Bastille

In the world of Bastille, humanity holds on to dear life. The humans who grow up with the Order's regime live in a world where the wilds are stalked by manners of creatures which will do worse than simply kill them. The Order's once noble path is called into question, as they do all in their power, take any sacrifice needed to safeguard the rest of humanity. Dark cults hunt for victims in dense city streets, abducting them to do all kinds of wicked and depraved rituals. Sorcerer's of the order foresee an impending doom which will rain down death. Dark forces move and muster at humanity's gate

Order of Bastille

“The bells ring as the night comes, the last of the men rally to a torn banner up high. The faithful stand strong, as they encroach. The wail horde comes, and the noble lines of soldiers stand as a bulwark.”

From the dense bogs of the southern marshlands, and the cold and snowy dunes of the eastern province, and the northern alpine forests. humanity stands united and whole. The Lands of the Order are diverse and its people all unique, but are unified by one undying faith that had seen them through the darkness. A sparking, shimmering hope ignited in the black. Faith in the light and the Flame are what tie humanity in their struggle to hold back the darkness of the Dreadwake Collapse.

In Bastille, the Order is what holds humanity together and stands as the bulwark at which the waves of horrors crash upon. Here players will discover a world that has been shaped by a disaster and headed down the road of religious worship of fire and the Ardent Flame in order to persevere after the disaster struck. The World is harsh, and unforgiving. It is difficult to be a hero in this world, but those who do, are spoken in legends forever.

Origins

Humans have many origins depending on where they grew up. The way a human lived and the environment where they grew up in effects their lives and experiences and they become more adapted to those environments. A rural born human can be from the place as a slum raised human but each too different paths in life, a noble blooded human could have fallen out of grace in their early years and found themselves being raised in the dredges of society, or vice versa.

It’s hard to make generalizations about humans, but your human character is shaped by their upbringing has these traits.

Age

Humans can live up to 55 to 60 years old and mature around their late teens.

Size

Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages

You learn to speak common. There are many other languages of dead civilizations, like the immortal empire or elvish and dwarvish.

Feat

Humans are naturally adaptable and can do a myriad of things and often can change their specialty throughout their life.
