Creature Type
You are a Construct.
Size
Crystagons can be Small or Medium.
Darkvision 60ft
Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Arcane Intuition
Crystagons can sense the nature of the magical energies that permeate the world, allowing them some insight into the inner workings of all things arcane. You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill.
Impenetrable Durability
It takes a mighty blow indeed to cause damage to your Crystagon form. Though not ideal for wearing armor, your gem-like physique grants you a base AC of 18 (your Dexterity modifier doesn’t affect this number). You gain no benefit from wearing armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield’s bonus as normal.
Crystal Regrowth
The substance of your Crystagon body heals more rapidly than organic creatures. When you finish a short or long rest, you automatically regain a number of hit points equal to your character level, in addition to any hit points gained by expending hit dice, as cracks and breaks in your body fuse back together.
Magical Foci
Crystagons are specially attuned to the magical weave, and can focus its energy in useful ways. Once per long rest, you may spend at least one minute concentrating the flow of magic in your surrounding environment to regain one expended spell slot or one expended charge on a magic item you hold during this ritual. If you choose to regain a spell slot, you may regain a single slot of a level no higher than your proficiency bonus. If you choose to regain a charge on a magic item, it must be an undamaged item that is capable of regaining charges. Either way you regain the use of this ability when you complete a long rest.
