Homebrew Aleron Species Details

       Aleron are humanoid creatures with the body of a human with the wings, talons, markings, and behavioral traits of a bird. They are very intelligent but are usually kinda slow when it comes to thinking of a solution to something and get distracted easily, but if they really try to focus they can think of solutions to problems fairly quickly, they also are very fast when it comes to running and flying. 

Aleron are either the same size as humans or smaller, they aren't very strong but they make up for it with their speed and talons which are like weapons attached to their bodies.

 

        Aleron is said to be angelic and perfect in every way, most strive to be the image of perfection, while others just want to have fun and not worry about how others see them, but either way, they are very proud and confident.

  They are capable of eating raw meat without getting sick, and they use their talons to hunt. They hunt small things like bunnies, foxes, and fawns. They often cook food instead of eating it raw though.

   The noises they make are chirps, purring, whistles, trills, and drumming. They are very social and love talking to people.

 

Aleron features

• Ability score increase. Your charisma score increases by 2, and your intelligence increases by 1.

 

• Age. They age at the same rate as humans.

 

• Alignment. Some strive to be heroic and kind while others will just do whatever they want as long as they're happy. They all want to be good people but sometimes they just like to cause a bit of chaos for the fun of it.

 

• Size. Aleron range from a little under five feet to about six feet in height, with generally slender builds.

 

• Speed. Your base walking speed is 35.

 

• Fey. Your creature type is fey, rather than humanoid.

 

• Talons. You can use your talons to make unarmed strikes. if you hit with them, you deal damage equal to 1d4 + strength modifier.

 

• Feathers sword. You are able to remove your feathers, sharpen them and use them as weapons, they are very flammable though. They can also be used as lockpicks if you're skilled enough.

 

• Spying feathers. You can detach your feathers from your wings and move them around without touching them, you're able to hear sounds, sense movement, and see things because of vibrations using the feathers, the smaller the feather the better it works. Although it's hard to focus on one thing.

 

• Languages. You can speak and understand common & ala.

 

• Weight. You are very light and your weight (as an adult) usually ranges from 85 pounds to 120.

Aleron are humans with the behavioral traits and some features of a bird, they have wings and talons and are very social and kind.

Your charisma goes up by two, and your intelligence goes up by one.

Age

Aleron reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.

Size

Aleron can be a bit under 5 feet to almost 6 feet tall, and they don't have much muscle mass.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet, you are quick and light on your feet, part of this is because Aleron are very light. Your wings also help you go faster.

Languages

you can speak, understand, and write Common and one other language as an Aleron, but you can also speak to and understand birds by using whistling, chirping, and other bird noises. this can be very useful when you need information you can't get from people.
