Homebrew Anky Saurian Species Details

Powerfully built, these lizardfolk were just built different. With a more stocky and wideset body these Saurians were long time enemies of the Lizardfolk we know today.  These people once covered most of what is now the civilized world, but were thought to have been hunted to extinction by their predatory counterparts. They venerated the great "Thunderlizards,"  and worshipped them as gods. Some were horned while others not. Some had great bony plates on their back while others utilized crude armors. However, it is clear that they were altogether a terrible force of power.

Powerful Build

Due to your stocky build and great size you count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.

Natural Armor

Your thick scaly hide grants you a bonus to your AC. Rather than start with a base armor stat of 10 you begin with an AC of 13 while unarmored.

Tail

In battle you have learned that having an additional limb can be a good thing. Using your tail as a natural weapon you can perform an unarmed strike.

Ancient Lore

You gain proficiency with two of the following skills of your choice: Animal Handling, Athletics, History, Nature, Perception, Religion, and Survival.
