Homebrew Burmecian Species Details

"It's been five years..." Spear in-hand, the knight stood alongside her companions, the ruins of her ancestral home before her.
"I've been away for so long. Not a night went by when I didn't dream about home. I can't believe I'm here..." Rain, pouring down in droves, slicked off of her leather armor, thunder crashing overhead. "I am no longer the selfish child I was five years ago. The time has come to serve my kingdom as a Burmecian dragon knight once again!"

Forgotten but not Forsaken

Burmecians, oft mistaken for 'giant rats' were one of the oldest races of Gaia, living long, hard lives over the ages, but in modern ages, especially after the Great Crystal War, most were left forgotten by history. Despite this, the burmecians refuse to simply die off or vanish, and they manage to find allies, both likely and non, at every turn to ensure their legacy lives on.

Survivors of Cruel Fate

Burmecians are well respected for their tenacity, often facing terrible fates, yet refusing to lie down and be forgotten. From the terrible siege their homeland faced, to multiple homes facing terrible destruction, the Burmecians not only refused to back down, but got back up, dusted themselves off, and went right back to rebuilding what was lost and destroyed.

Burmecian Names

Burmecians are often known to tie their given name not to a family, but to a notable trait about themselves. Such as Sir Fratley Irontail, whose tail strength and dexterity were so good it acted like a third arm, or Dame Freya Crescent, whose leaping ability was so high it's rumored she could touch the moon.

By Leaps and Bounds

Burmecians are well known for their racial sub-class, the Dragoon ranger. These elite dragonslayers actually rely on spears, rather than swords, for combat and train their bodies to leap at insane heights, letting them fight dragons mano-a-mano even fi the dragon is in mid-flight.
