Homebrew Battle Droid (Improved) Species Details

Your character has some unique ability’s. Some of these ability’s are good and some of these are bad, although they do add a lot of flavour compared to lots of other races so let’s get started.

If your Battle Droid dies (but not out right) your teammates or anyone can bring you back to life with one hit point by downloading your data into another battle droid. You can do this from a data tablet or anything else that you could have a backup memory or reboot on. At level 1 a reboot costs 40 gold pieces, level 2 it’s costs 50, level 3 costs 70, level 4 costs 100, level 5 costs 150, level 6 costs 200 and for each level after this just add 50 gold pieces (per level). It takes 60 minutes to download data or do a backup and 60 minutes to download a backup or a reboot from the droid (before it dies) into your data tablet.

Because your a droid water damages your robotics, When your swimming in water or other similar liquid will deal 4d6 damage to you at the start of each of your turns.

Your health at each level is now a 1D6 unless it is lower anyway.

Battle Droids can be healed by clerics, healing spells and healing potions and things like that.

Battle Droid (Improved) Traits

Battle droids are not really good at anything but they do surprisingly have a unique bonus unlike any other race.

Ability Score Increase

 -2 intelligence and -1 in everything else apart from wisdom. You get your wisdom trait from your creators racial wisdom bonus. If you don’t know who your creator is your DM will decide how much your wisdom bonus is.

Age

Battle Droids are basically immortal until they get taken out in battle get damaged beyond repair or start deteriorating but then you can just download their memory into another droid.

Alignment

 Battle Droids tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.

Size

Battle Droids are usually built around 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language and you can download languages so then you can speak, read and write them. Languages usually cost around 120 to 400 gold pieces or you can learn them normally like any other race would.
