Homebrew WINMONAN Species Details
Sequestered in high mountains atop tall trees, the Winmonan, sometimes called mischievous bastards.
They are immigrants, refugees, scouts, and explorers.
Appearance.
From a distance, a Winmonan look much like a regular human. Only when you get a closer look does their humanoid appearance reveal itself. Winmonan's have wing sprouts from either head to toe, stand at an average of 5'9 to 6'7 in height. They always have sharp teeth and colored facial markings that can represent a certain tribe and or gender.
Tree and sky.
Nowhere are the Winmonan more comfortable than in the trees. They can spend hours in a tree usually napping and or socializing, using both their legs and tails as a place holder for them to hold onto a single branch for hours on end. In battle, they prove dynamic and acrobatic fliers, moving with remarkable speed and grace, diving to lash opponents with weapons or tails before turning and flying away.
Winmonan Mannerisms
Winmonan's tend to be very social in their many tribes and wary of strangers. Many Winmonan punctuate their speech with clicks and whistles, and even with their tails and depending where the wings are displayed on their body, sounds and movements they use to convey emphasis and to shade meaning, much as a human might through facial expressions and gestures.
Winmonan tend to be thieves and smugglers due to their ability to take things unnoticed. Shiny, glittering objects catch their eyes.
They find it hard not to pluck the treasure and bring it back to their settlement to beautify it. An Winmonan who spends years among other races can learn to inhibit these impulses.
Winmonan tend to sleep in piles and always want to be close to someone they know, often seen sleeping ontop of people they trust.
Homelands
Once tribes of Winmonan settle they tend to pluck smaller branches and stick and or weave them into other trees for intricate ladders only a Winmonan can climb.
A typical tribe consists of one large, open-roofed hut made out of tied trees and weaves of vine. The eldest female Winmonan's tend to act as a council.

Great Purpose
Winmonan enjoy peace and solitude. Most of them have little interest in dealing with other peoples and less interest in spending time on the ground. For this reason, it takes an exceptional circumstance for a Winmonan to leave his or her tribe and undertake the adventurer’s life. Neither treasure nor glory is enough to lure them from their tribes; a dire threat to their people, a mission of vengeance, or a catastrophe typically lies at the heart of the Winmonan adventurer’s chosen path.

WINMONAN Traits
As a Winmonan you have certain traits in common with your people. Being able to fly at high speed starting at 1st level is exceptionally effective in certain circumstances and exceedingly dangerous in others. As a result, playing an Winmonan requires special consideration by your DM.
