Homebrew Zygopteran Species Details
Originally from the remote marshlands of the Feywild, Zygopterans are an enigmatic, solitary species. Resembling damselflies in appearance, all Zygopterans share a love for amazing thrills and daredevil stunts, a love emphasized by their rigorous training for flight in their culture. Zygopterans come in many different colors, and are always looking for ways to stand out from others of their species. They, along with many other species of insect Fey, are often confused with thri-kreen, a similar insectile species, but most Zygopterans are quick to point out the differences.

Size
Zygopterans are unusually lightweight for averaging from 4 to 6 feet, with the heaviest of these reaching 110 pounds. You are Medium or Small.
Speed

Flight
Because of your wings, you have a flying speed of 40 feet. You can't use this flying speed if you are wearing heavy armor.
Compound Eyes
You have compound eyes that allow you to see in all directions. You also have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks.
Darkvision
Your compound eyes allow you to see in dim and dark conditions. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern colors in darkness, only shades of gray.
