Homebrew Cambion Species Details

Infernal Bloodline

Cambions are derived from their humanoid and devil bloodlines, and look like a mixture of the two. Their infernal heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance, as they have large horns that take any of a variety of shapes: some have curling horns like a ram, others have straight and tall horns like a gazelle’s, and some spiral upward like an antelopes’ horns. They have thick tails, four to six feet long, which flick or become straight and when they get upset or nervous respectively. Their canine teeth are sharply pointed, and their eyes are solid colors—black, red, or gold—with no visible sclera or pupil. Their skin tones include various shades of red and occasionally, reddish purple. Their often straight hair, cascading down from behind their horns, is usually dark, from black or brown to dark red or purple.

Self-Reliant and Egotistical

All cambions, while they grow up, are trained in a variety of subjects to be optimized servants to greater demons, mostly in tactical strategy and prowess. They are trained to be submissive subservients and  while most do so out of admiration and fear of their elder, some break away and leave to explore the material plane. Those that do prefer to work alone or in small groups, though they are oft shunned by the outside world, as both their appearance and known history point to something that most rational beings would wish to destroy.
