Homebrew Wulver Species Details

The Wulver was a creature like a man with a wolf's head. He had short brown hair all over him. His home was a cave dug out of the side of a steep knowe, half-way up a hill. He didn't molest folk if folk didn't molest him. He was fond of catching and eating fish, and had a small rock in the deep water which is known to this day as the "Wulver's Stane". There he would sit fishing sillaks and piltaks for hour after hour. He was reported to have frequently left a few fish on the window-sill of some poor body.

Kind and Courteous:
Unless provoked, Wulver are kind creatures that will help other humanoids when they need it.

Quiet:
Whilst Wulver can speak, they do not like to. Often they will use body language to communicate or grunt their approval or disproval.

Excellent fishers:
Wulver are natural fishermen, capable of catching fish even in a puddle. When making a Survival check to fish, add your proficiency bonus. If you are already proficient in Survival checks, you may add your proficiency bonus twice. If you have expertise in survival checks add your proficiency bonus twice, as normal, and an additional +1.

Healing Howl (ritual):
You may perform a ritual over the course of a night to howl a song from your past. Once the sun rises, all creatures within 500ft of you remove any conditions and illnesses they may have had and you gain the benefits of a short rest. Whilst doing this ritual, your movement speed is reduced to 0. Once you begin the ritual, you cannot do so again until 7 dawns have passed.
