Despite their large size and powerful stature, xiopan are remarkably kind and social creatures. Some xiopan even travel to far off land and join long adventures for the simple reason of making friends.

Bearkin Descendant

The Xiopan, also known as Pandafolk, are a type of bearkin, which are humanoid creatures with bear-like characteristics. While bearkin can come in many different shapes and sizes, the Xiopan stand out as one of the most unique sub-species of the bearkin race.

Like other bearkin, the Xiopan possess many physical traits that are similar to bears. They have a stocky build, thick fur, and sharp claws that are used for climbing and defending themselves. They are also quite large, standing up to 7 feet tall in some cases. However, what sets the Xiopan apart from other bearkin is their distinctive black and white fur pattern, which resembles that of a panda.

Despite their physical similarities to other bearkin, the Xiopan possess their own unique cultural traditions and way of life. They are deeply connected to nature and have a strong sense of community, often living in tight-knit family groups. They are skilled fighters, making them valuable allies to adventurers and travelers.

They say that the way to control chi is to calm you mind, let go of inner turmoil, and unlock inner peace. Chi itself can be used in a variety of ways, though the xiopan have 3 special ways to utilize it.

Three Great Clans

The xiopan society is made up of three separate clans: the Long Clan, the Lianhua Clan, and the Jingshen Clan. Each clan has their own specialty in the xiopan culture. The Long Clan are the warriors of xiopan, using their chi for powerful attacks and impenetrable defenses. The Lianhua Clan are the healers, specializing their chi for healing the sick and injured. The Jingshen Clan are, for the lack of a better term, spellcasters, using their chi to cast a variety of spells at a distance and aiding their allies. These clans live together, working side by side, in peace and harmony.

Xiopan naming practices are similar to those of humans. Each xiopan has a givin name and surname. The names themselves, in comparision, are very similar to Shou names.

Male names:

Female Names:

e.g., Annchi Daiyu, Kwong, Lan, Mei, Meng, Shan, Yubi.

Surnames:
