The Space Marines or Adeptus Astartes are foremost amongst the defenders of Humanity, the greatest of the Emperor of Mankind's warriors. They are barely Human at all, but superhuman; having been made superior in all respects to a normal man by a harsh regime of genetic modification, psycho-conditioning and rigorous training.
Adeptus Astartes Traits
Astartes have advantage on poison and disease saves. Proficient in Athletics and Perception. Transhuman Physiology allows you to ignore 1 point of damage, also Regening 1 HP per minute. Catalepsean Node
This organ is implanted into the back of the cerebrum, just above the brain stem. When deprived of sleep for a long period of time, the Catalepsean Node "cuts in" upon detecting a rise in the Astartes' stress and fatigue hormones. Skipping a long rest will not educe a point of exhaustion if you have slept within the past 14 days.
Gene-wrought Might
Gene-seed implantation has genetically augmented your physical abilities and senses. You are proficient in Athletics and Perception.
Blessed Gene-Seed
The gene-seed is actually the catch-all term for those germ cells and viral machines that have been genetically-engineered to develop into the various organs that are implanted into a normal Human adolescent male to transform him into a transhuman Astartes. You have a +2 in Strength and Constitution.
