Homebrew Branded Species Details

Branded are a unique and rare species. They are descendants of both humans and humanoid-like creatures that resemble animals. As a result of their mixed ancestry, they possess traits of both races and often have a difficult time fitting in with either group.

Branded usually have some sort of mark on their body that reveals their branded heritage. This can range from the forehead, to the back, hand, or even the feet. Some branded have physical characteristics of their non-human parent, such as cat-like eyes or pointed ears, but their appearance can vary greatly depending on their individual heritage. They are often discriminated against and face challenges in both human and non-human societies due to their mixed lineage.
