Homebrew Ancient Travelers Species Details

Not long after time was time and the birth of the multidimensions came to exist, lore tells of the first being. The Infinite One. This being was alone to their thoughts and existed as such in the vast emptiness of the dimensions. It came to be at one point where the Infinite One wanted to experience a new state of existence. The Infinite One created a realm of existence where they would start their new state. And so, like a fractal, they divided themselves into many versions, the Ancient Travelers. Each one had their own thoughts and reasoning as a completely new being in of itself. Each one also had Light and Dark within them, even if it was unbalanced to create their personalities. Before the Infinite One completely divided itself, they used the last of their life force to create a seedling that connected each of the Ancient Travelers together. As the Ancient Travelers grew, so did the seedling of creation. The seedling soon became the Tree of Ancients as it matured with the Ancient Travelers in this new realm that the Infinite One created. Over time, the Ancient Travelers lived in peace with one another and grew to understand the meaning of their own lives and the gifts bestowed upon them. They understood the creation of the realm and their connection to the Tree of Ancients.

Seeing what the Infinite One had gifted them, the Ancient Travelers wanted to create something as well. Each one constructed a realm of their own. A home for which they saw fit to create marvelous wonders to behold. The Ancient Travelers even created realms with others, combining ideas into existence. And they too wanted to experience the creation of life as their Infinite One had with them. It is then that the creation of the Children of the Stars came into being. Guardians that would help watch over the multiple realms that were created by the Ancient Travelers.

Yet, there came a time where the Ancient Travelers did not all agree with the ideas they shared and sought to cut themselves from the others or fight against others. Due to this, the harmony of the Ancient Travelers was in chaos which created a divide amongst them. This division distorted the energy of the Tree of Ancients in turn, causing the realms they created to disappear entirely with their creators when they were no longer connected into darkness. This chaotic darkness that sought to destroy all that the Infinite One’s light had created.

With the divide between the Ancient Travelers growing, the few remaining defending the light of creation planned a counter attack to remove the chaotic darkness that spread across the vast dimensions that were created. Each traveled to the different dimensions, tracking through the dark connection leading them to their dark breatharian and cleansing the evil that embodied them.  The hope of the Ancient Travelers preventing the singularity event that would destroy all of the dimensions and what the Infinite One had gifted to them.
