Homebrew Daegok (Fantasmagorie) Species Details

Daegoks (Half Monsters) are not a race but the result of the union of one or more goblinoids and a human. They have the traits of both parents. These traits vary depending on the origin of their parent.

Appearance

Daegoks look like humans with goblinoid features. Dark or greenish skin and hair, red or yellow eyes, larger upper limbs, pointed ears, and visible fangs are some of the possible physical variations.

Personality

Daegoks are social outcasts due to their cursed origin; they are the result of a rarely desired union. They are suspicious and aggressive. They are survivors and passionate, untamed forces of nature.

They feel emotion powerfully. Rage not only quickens their pulse, it makes their bodies burn. An insult stings them like acid, and sadness saps their strength. But they laugh loudly and heartily, and simple pleasures - feasting, drinking, wrestling, drumming and dancing wildly - fill their hearts with joy.

Beliefs

The Daegok embrace a wide variety of religions and faith practices. Many, however, are fond of the tenets of Braken, Tachius and Xalfux.
