Homebrew Arachean (Old, see Arakin) Species Details

The Arachean weavers are well known for their expertise in clothing and combat. Aracehans live in secluded underground citadels and very rarely do you see male Aracheans, though a few are known to have appeared near Waterdeep's tombs and caverns. Their top half humanoid, with many eyes and blue shaded skin, their bottom half, powerful legs granting unlimited mobility across surfaces and their improved eyesight helping with hunting and trudging through dark caves. They are considered a rarity and few are seen that aren't killed for their valuable silk. There six legs grant them unrivaled mobility, even being to cling to walls and roofs without slipping. However, this comes at them normally having issues with shoes and struggles hiding.

Arachnid Ancestry

Your climbing speed applies to any terrain as long as it is a wall or roof. You can end your turn while attached to a surface, including roofs. If you take damage while attached however, you will lose your footing and fall. You cannot use this ability while exhausted.

Predator Instincts

You can cast web while ignoring the material components. You can do so a number of times per long rest equal to one plus your wisdom modifier. You share your characters spell save DC with this feature. Arachean's eyes also grant them 35ft of darkvision while in caves or underground.
