Homebrew Zalior Species Details
Zaliors were created by the wayward pseudo-deity Kanzhaki when he found himself lost in the frozen kingdom of Bliyze (credit to Nightbringer458 for the setting). They are modeled partly after the icirores and arragales of Bliyze and partly after Kanzhaki himself.
Mish-Mashed Look
Zaliors appear as a combo of wolf, elf, and owl, reflecting their creator. Zaliors typically stand between 6 and 7 feet tall, owing their height to their wolf-like legs. The shortest recorded zalior was 5'10", while the tallest one possessed almost a full 8 feet. The zaliors' skin tone range encompasses the entire human spectrum plus bone white and midnight black, and they can add tinges of blue, white, cyan, black, and even red at will, and their emotions are reflected in unconscious color changes. A zalior's hair can be almost any color of the rainbow, with the exceptions of pink and purple, and their eyes are either bright blue, dark brown, or a bestial yellow. Instead of hands, zaliors possess owl talons, and a pair of owl wings sprout from their shoulder blades, with an average wingspan of about 5 meters. They also have a wolf tail, as well as either teeth fused together on both jaws or sharp fangs with vampire-like canines. Zaliors mature somewhere between their late teens and their early twenties, similar to humans, and can live for up to a whopping 20,000 years.
A Light Among the Cold
Although Kanzhaki sculpted zaliors from ice and snow, he gave them a deadly secret: zaliors have fire powers. Unfortunately, the zaliors inhabit Bliyze, and so such abilities are strictly taboo, and could even get the zaliors killed. Kanzhaki had spent enough time in Bliyze to know about the zuneaites' hatred of fire, and gave his children ice powers as well to hide their forbidden power. The only clues to the zaliors' fiery nature are the facts that they can give their skin a red tint and that some have warm-colored hair.

Zalioran names tend to be in a dialect of Celestial spoken by their creator, although some zaliors might adopt the naming conventions of the culture they grow up in.

Power of Fire and Ice
You command the powers of fire and ice. You know the ray of frost, frostbite, fire bolt, and control flames cantrips. At 3rd level, you can cast the ice knife and burning hands spells once per long rest each, and at 5th level, you can cast the Snilloc's snowball swarm and flaming sphere spells once per long rest each.
Talons
You have owl talons in the place of hands. The talons are natural weapons that use your Strength score for to hit rolls and deal 1d6 + Strength modifier used slashing damage. You are proficient in attacks made with these talons.
