Homebrew Dodo Bird Species Details

In the reckonings of most worlds, Dodo birds are the stupidest of the common races, crows and magpies easily besting them in levels of intelligence. Perhaps it is because of their stupidity that they achieve as much as they can in the years they are given. Or maybe they feel they have something to prove to the smarter races, and that’s why they build their mighty nests on the foundation of pebbles and beach sand. Whatever drives them, Dodo birds are the ones to go to if you want a good laugh and a warm nest.

A Not-So-Broad Spectrum

With their penchant for staying in one place for the entirety of their lives, Dodo birds are less physically diverse than other common races. An individual is usually around 3 feet tall, weighing in at around 50 pounds.

Shiny Rock

When a Dodo Bird comes into possession of a rock (especially a shiny one), they will guard it with their very lives. Most hide theirs away underground, away from the greedy beaks of their fellow kind. Others choose to carry their rocks with them wherever they go. A few choose to flaunt their rocks, putting them up in high places where they can be seen by all.
