Homebrew Bunnyfolk Species Details

The bunny folk are a small, practical race. They are bipedal and humanoid with different rabid qualities, such as fur in a variety of colors, bunny-noses, huge ears, and long feet. They share the keen senses and powerful legs of leporine creatures and are full of energy, like a wound-up spring

Originating from a group of Dragonborn who were cursed to live as rabbits, the bunny folk still have remnants of their dragon ancestors through their love of gold and shiny nicknacks, as well as a burning rage hidden deep within them however due to their size, this rage often appears as a

Bunnyfolk live in burrows and in woodland areas, peaceful and quiet. Though some bunnyfolk live out their days in remote agricultural communities, others form nomadic bands that travel constantly, lured by the open road and the wide horizon to discover the wonders of new lands and peoples.

Small but Visous.

Bunnyfolk are small but mighty, often forgetting their size. They'll rush into situations without realising they small, cute and fluffy appearence. Their adorable appearance can take others off guard and make them forget about their claws and speed. 

Standing about 3 feet tall, they appear relatively harmless and so have managed to survive for centuries due to their keen wit and erratic attitude. 

Kind and Curious

Bunnyfolk are an affable and cheerful people. They cherish the bonds of family and friendship as well as the comforts of hearth and home, harboring few dreams of gold or glory. Even adventurers among them usually venture into the world for reasons of community, friendship, wanderlust, or curiosity. They love discovering new things, even simple things, such as an exotic food or an unfamiliar style of clothing.

Bunny-madness

Due to their biological affiliation with the Dragonborn, bunny folk are notoriously territorial, and never let their size keep them back from a fight. Some bunny-folk even go into spurts of hyperactive madness where they're are incredibly angry and vengeful.

Your mix of Rabbit and Dragon heritage manifests in a variety of traits you share with other dragonborn.

Binkies

Once a day you can go into spurts of Bunny madness that last for 1 hour as a bonus action (similar to the rage action).

You have an advantage on Strength checks and Strength saving throws.
Can move at x1.5 speed
You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

It ends early if you are knocked unconscious or if your turn ends and you haven’t attacked a hostile creature since your last turn or taken damage since then. You can also end your rage on your turn as a bonus action.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity score increases by 2.

A bunny folk reaches adulthood at the age of 20 and generally lives into the middle of his or her second century.

Your size is Small.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 25 feet.

You can move through the space of any creature that is of a size larger than yours.
