Homebrew Caynew Species Details

The Caynew are a race of humanoid dogs, originating from a large mountenous island. They Caynews have only resently been aware that other races exist. Caynew society is traditionaly quite tribalistic, where they hunt and gather to survive. Caynew tribes traditionaly also moved around from day to day over massive areas. Some of the more modern Caynew societites dont live like this anymore however. Caynews still have a strict hierachy in their societies, almost all Caynews respect their hierachy and not doing so is a great offence. Caynews are therefore usually lawfull. Caynews have quite short lifespans where they mature and are treated as adults around the age of 16. They can then live up to 60, but this is a rare occurrence. Caynews can grow to be between 5 and 7 feet tall and 120 and 230 lbs. They innately apreciate fysical exercise, especially cardio. ecause of this, most of them are very athletic in build.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity.

Languages

You know common and one language from another humanoid race.

Biting jaw

You may use your jaws as a natural weapon (1d6+ strength modifier, piercing damage).

If you score a critical hit, you may immediately make a bite attack as a free action. You may only do this once per turn.
