Homebrew Bloodwrought Species Details

Deep in the shadows of the world, there exists a mysterious race of beings known as the Bloodwrought. For centuries, they have existed on the fringes of society, shrouded in secrecy and superstition. Their origins are shrouded in myth and legend, but one thing is certain: they possess a power unlike any other.

Through a ritualistic process of blood infusion, the Bloodwrought have developed a unique relationship with the life force of other creatures. They have replaced their own blood over generations with the blood of others, creating an amalgamation of life energy within themselves. This process has given them access to the power of Blood Magic, allowing them to manipulate the life force of themselves and others.

However, this power comes with a price. The Bloodwrought are dependent on the blood of other creatures to sustain themselves, and the more powerful the creature, the greater the dependency. This has made them outsiders in most societies, and their reputation as bloodthirsty beings has led many to fear and shun them.

Despite the challenges they face, the Bloodwrought remain a proud and resilient race, fiercely protective of their own kind and determined to survive in a world that often rejects them.
