Homebrew Clayborn Species Details

The Clayborn are a mysterious and ancient race of beings, created by the gods themselves from the earth and given life. The story goes that the gods were concerned with the welfare of the people of the land, and so they created the Clayborn to help them in times of need. The Clayborn were crafted from the very earth itself, and were given the power to change their shape at will, as well as to transform parts of their body into weapons and tools.

Physically, the Clayborn resemble humanoid figures made entirely of clay. They are malleable and pliable, and can reshape their limbs and features as they desire. Their skin is always slightly wet and can take on any color, from earthy browns and greens to vibrant blues and purples. Their eyes are solid black orbs, with their pupils made of gemstones, shimmering and sparkling in the light.

Clayborn are a solitary race, with no known culture or community. They are typically encountered alone or in small groups, and seem to have little interest in the affairs of other races. They are often called upon by those in need, and will occasionally offer their services to those they deem worthy.
