Homebrew Aquarian. V2 Species Details

This Underwater race, well-suited for the seas, swamps, rivers and lakes of the world, has developed a natural resistance to the weight of water and the ability to breathe underwater due to their fish gills. they tend to live well in the water usually away from the surface building colonies under water instead. however some Aquarians do come up to the surface for multitude of reasons such as faster transportation, adventures, tourism, surface tasks such as farming or just out of curiosity.

They can also hold their breathe for seventeen minutes if needed along with not needing food or drinks for three months however they must feast before rest if it is impossible to do so or is not allowed then they will not be able to sleep properly only able to take four short rests as they wake up randomly throughout the night in hunger. this hunger can be satisfied by drinking 18lb of water.

The fishes come in various shapes and forms as a matter of fact they take on the form of all 28,000 existing species of fish, however hagfish, lampreys, cartilaginous fish, ray-finned bony fish, and lobe-finned bony fish are the most common among this species. the variety doesn't end there however since they can be sharks, squids, octopuses etc. just in a humanoid form however they all have the blue spots in their face right under the eye which glows for them to see in the depts. below granting them night vision of 100ft.

they breed the same as humans and live up to 750 hears and tend to reach maturity by the age of nineteen. if one of these creature attempt to cross breed then the dominate gene will power over and make the child into one or the other. their skin is often like soaked fur under but the skin that is exposed tends to be a more scaly in its fashion coming in varies patterns. their flesh is Salmon like most fish which means some people may want to eat the species which is why they hide so far down in the water where no one wishes to go. it does take some bravery to come to the surface as those tales are told in warranty to children. 

the life for a Aquarian is something special indeed, they tend to be playful cooperative and like pleasure seeking for such as games, dungeon crawls or quests to excess energy much like children until around the age of forty when they usually become more mature and calm, level headed. however in some special cases this can differ. they are excellent communicators giving them advantage on any charisma checks. the gills filter out disease or toxins before breathe is taken giving these species resistance to poison damage.

Fish traits.

The fishes eyes are the same of a normal same with memory. you get disadvantage on perception and history checks. the gills filter out any disease meaning they are resistant to poison. another up side is that they have no external ears meaning that the fish cannot be deafened unless it is done by magic. however with no eye lids if any fire damage is taken the race is blinded for the remainder of the round.
