Homebrew Crustagon Species Details

This race is an aquatic lifeform, spending most of their time in the shallow seas of you DnD world. There are many subraces of the Crustagons, some are friendly and love selling trinkets found in shipwrecks, others live deep in the sea and are hardly ever seen.

Most subraces of Crustagons cannot wear armor due to their molting carapace, but clothing is always able to be worn. Some Crustagons can also not wield weapons, but are well armed with large and deadly claws. Regular Crustagons have one hand and one claw, allowing them to hold any two handed weapon in one hand, this also allows them to grapple an individual with their single claw. Due to the one hand Crustagons cannot use weapons such as bows, and firearms. Slings are a valid option if they are placed on the clawed arm.
