Homebrew Xióngmāo (Panda folk) Species Details
Xióngmāo or Panda folk, live in mountainous regions tending their farm land with others of their kind. Whilst they are not cautious of travellers, should you break their trust, it will be remembered.
Xióngmāo practice all sorts of crafts, from fighting to magic. They are especially gifted in the martial arts and healing palm magic.
They are known for constantly chewing on bamboo shoots to the point, some think it an addiction.

If they fall, they will use their cushioned exterior to soften the blow. Whilst they will still take damage, they will only take half when falling from above 20ft and zero damage from less than 20ft.
Thoughts of food
When the Panda folk are faced with the daunting task of climbing an obstacle, they can use the memories of food to see the food they most desire and use this to increase their will and drive to climb any obstacle.

Due to their sheer size and how they live, Panda folk are inherently stronger than usual as well as having plenty of time to meditate and enhance their wisdom and knowledge of the world.
Healing Paw
Panda folk have known the way of healing hands for centuries as it has been passed down from generation to generation.
They can only use it twice per short rest, once per hand/paw.
