Homebrew Centaurus Species Details

Centaurs are majestic and powerful creatures, with the upper body of a humanoid and the lower body of a horse. They have strong, muscular torsos covered in short hair, with arms that are as dexterous as a human's but end in hands with tough, leathery skin and thick, calloused fingers. Their equine legs are powerful and agile, ending in hard hooves that can deliver a powerful kick or stomp.

Centaurs are deeply connected to nature, and many live in forests or other wilderness areas. They have a strong sense of community and will go to great lengths to protect their herds and their territories. They are often seen as guardians of the natural world, and many centaurs have a deep respect for the fey creatures that share their homes.

Despite their imposing size and strength, centaurs are not inherently aggressive or violent. They are intelligent and curious creatures, and many are skilled in the arts of hunting, tracking, and survival. They have a natural grace and agility that makes them excellent fighters and hunters, and their hooves and powerful kicks make them formidable opponents in combat.
