Homebrew Twilight Tiefling Species Details

Just as the heavens and the hells are locked in an eternal war, so too do two forces clash within the blood of the Twilight Tiefling. Warring powers of the Celestial and Infernal realms leave these souls in an eternal purgatory, shifting from radiance to darkness without warning.

Twilight Tiefling Traits

As a Twilight Tiefling, you share the following traits:

Ability Score Increase

Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Celestial, and Infernal.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Your ties to both the Celestial and Infernal realms make your darkvision unusual: everything you see in darkness is shrouded in silvery twilight.

Unstable Blood

Each time you finish a long rest, roll a d20. If you rolled a 10 or below, you gain access to the Dusk spell list, and if you rolled an 11 or above, you gain access to the Dawn spell list instead. Each spell gained via this feature of 1st and 2nd level can only be cast once until you complete your next long rest. At the end of each long rest, you lose the cantrips and spells previously granted by this feature, even if you did not cast them. Your spellcasting abiliy for each of these spells is your choice of Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma.
