Homebrew Walkin Species Details
Walkin are a race of humanoids that resemble a walrus (similar to how loxodon resemble elephants). Walkin’s skin tends towards dark browns, black. Their eyes tend to be brown, grey, black, and or amber. Their physique can range from blubbery to slightly more toned. Most have bulging stomachs, regardless of sex. Their heads are virtually indistinguishable from a walrus.
Walkin Traits
Your Walkin character has abilities owing to its aquatic upbringing.Ability Score Increase
Your Strength score increases by 4, and your Dexterity and Constitution score increases by 1.
Age
Walkin reach maturity at around 50, and typically live to be 500 years old
Alignment
Walkin typically trend towards neutral alignments, either as individual travelers or members of larger communities.
Size
Walkin stand between 7 to 9 and a half feet tall, and 500 to 1200 lbs and tend to have stockier builds with an insulating layer of fat. Your size is medium.
Speed
Your walking speed is 25 feet. In addition, you have a swim speed of 40 feet.
Powerful Lungs
You may hold your breath for up to 3 hours.
Insulated Pelt/Thick Hide
Walkin have thick skin and fat. Your unarmored AC is equal to 12 + your Dexterity modifier. You may wear a shield and still gain this benefit.
You have resistance to cold damage and the effects of cold weather travel.
Powerful Build
You are considered one size larger for purposes of carrying capacity, as well as lifting, pulling, or pushing heavy objects
Menacing
You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill
Tusk
Your Tusks are a piercing weapon, used to make your unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier.

You may read, speak, and write Common and Aquan
Weapon Training
Walkin brute strength does not mean they are not weapon trained as well. You are proficient in the trident, net, great club, Maul, war hammer, longsword, crossbow, or scimitar
Relentless Endurance.
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
