Homebrew Bajoran Species Details

Bajorans are native to a Class M planet called Bajor. They have four to seven horizontal indentations on their noses and most are very dexterous.

Personality: Bajorans are extremely religious. Because of the Occupation, they are usually more distrusting of any non-Bajoran race and they have an extreme disdain for Cardassians. They blame all Cardassians for the war and hold an extreme grudge against them.

Physical Description: Bajorans have 4-7 horizontal creases on their noses which is their main physical distinction from humans however their internal physiology is much different.

Relations: Bajorans get along with humans and usually do not have a problem with race other than Cardassians. There are very few Bajorans who can stand to even be in the same room as a Cardassian.

Alignment: Although former members of the resistance are more likely to be chaotic than lawful, there are the best and the worst in all of them.

Language: Bajoran writing is ideographic, similar to the earth languages of Chinese or Japanese.

Names: Bajoran names are different than Humans in that their given name follows their family name. For example Kira Nerys, Kira is her family name and Nerys is her given name so she would be refereed to as Ensign Kira but to her friends, she would be called Nerys.

Adventurers: Bajoran adventurers are often very religious, however due to most being in the underground during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor, they have a slight mean streak. They know what it takes to get the jobs done and almost all of them have a strong feeling of pride toward Bajor.
