Homebrew Bonewalker Species Details

The Bonewalkers, or more commonly referred to as skeletons take on the appearance of the human skeleton, and rarely other humanoid races, with a faint and hardly noticeable crimson glow in dark crevices of their body. they are typically medium height, and are much more fragile than most other races, but due to their mystical nature, they can rebuild themselves incase of dismemberment. they can use this to their advantage and purposely 'disarm' themselves for an advantage. they are proficient in being magical classes, rangers, and rouges.

Bonewalker Traits

The bonewalker has a few useful traits, those of which are catered just for it.

Reformation

the bonewalker takes a turn or longer to reform their entire body, and some hp. this is determined based on the roll of a d4, and will only work if it lands of a 4.

Reattachment

Reattachment will allow the bonewalker to reattach any lost body part to where they formerly were. there isn't much else to say, since this is a simple yet powerful trait. limbs are not pulled by magic, the bonewalker much grab and reattach limbs by themselves, the only way to permanently lose limbs is if they are destroyed, or not picked up.

Ability Score Increase

Wisdom increases by 2, Dexterity increases by 2, Charisma decreases by 1, Constitution decreases by 5, Strength decreases by 2.

Age

Bonewalkers are not born, but resurrected from long dead corpses, aging back from hundreds to thousands of years.

Alignment

Bonewalkers are typically True Neutral or Neutral Evil.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 100 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were fog. You can’t tell exactly what color something is in darkness, it seems blurry.

Language

You can speak, read, and write Common, Undercommon, and Primordial.
