Aaesdemon Traits

As an Aasdemon, you have inherited both demonic and divine traits from your parents. You are a rare and unique individual, often blending in with the societies you live in to hide your true nature. However, when the time comes, you can tap into your immense potential and unleash your hidden powers.

Darkvision

Thanks to your demonic and divine heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Heritage feature

Your demonic or divine heritage. You gain a related ability and proficiency:

  • Demonic Heritage: You gain proficiency in the Intimidation skill
  • Divine Heritage: You gain proficiency in the Religion skill

Aasdemon Resilience

Aasdemons are resilience when it comes to charms and necrotic attacks due to their divine heritage.

Hidden potential

Aasdemon have a unique ritual that can unlock more of their hidden potential. At 3rd level, you can perform a special ritual that takes 8 hours to complete and costs 50 gold pieces worth of rare materials. Upon completing the ritual, you can choose one of the following benefits:

  • Your flying speed increases to 30 feet.
  • You gain resistance to fire damage.
  • Your base walking speed increases by 10 feet.
  • You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
  • You can cast the Detect Magic spell at will. 
  • You can cast the Levitate spell once per day.
  • You can cast the Enhance Ability spell once per day.
  • You gain resistance to cold damage.

Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Aasdemon mature at the same rate as humans but have exceptionally long lifespans, living for up to several centuries

Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Infernal and Celestial. Aasdemon typically learn the languages of both their heritages.
