Homebrew Amphidan Species Details
A small humanoid species ranging from .5 of a foot to 1.5 feet tall
across the color spectrum of a swamp from green to red in muddy tones with occassional vibrant greens, yellows and reds
they live in swamps and keep to themselves hiding from most visitors and outsiders, sometimes killing them with elders toxins
be wary going searching for them....
Amphidan Traits
Frog eyes - the species is farsighted with disadvantage on all perception checks within 20 ft, enemies have disadvantage on sneak atacks, amphibian darkvision 90ftAbility Score Increase
Amphidans natural aptitude in the water and on land grants them an increase of +2 to Dexterity and their innate knowledge of the land grants them a +1 Wisdom
Frog Eyes
Frog eyes - the species is farsighted with disadvantage on all perception checks within 20 ft, their motion detection vision gives their enemies disadvantage on sneak atacks, and excellent amphibian darkvision allows them to see 90ft in dim color on the darkest nights.
Leaping for Life
Your amphibian ancestry has evolved a failsafe to all your problems, jump for it. When your life is in peril you possess the powerful hamstrings to leap 50ft in a random direction in front or behind you to escape danger. You can use this ability whenever you are in combat or a stressful enough situation but when frightened you must pass a wisdom DC of 15 or be sent flying. Your powerful legs can be used twice per long rest.
