One With The Planet

Long ago, the Antelopians were a proud and prosperous civilization, living in harmony with the natural world. They were ruled by a council of elders, who made decisions based on the needs of the community as a whole. The Antelopians were known for their agility, speed, and keen senses, as well as their deep respect for the environment.

Forced Nomads

However, their way of life was threatened by the encroachment of other civilizations, who sought to exploit the natural resources of the Antelopians’ homeland. Over time, their forests were cut down, their rivers were polluted, and their way of life was threatened. In response, the Antelopians began to adapt, honing their skills of survival in the harsh desert regions that had been left behind by the other civilizations. They became nomadic, moving from place to place in search of water, food, and safety. They developed new tools and techniques for surviving in the harsh environment, and learned to live off the land in a way that left minimal impact.

Here, There, and Everywhere

Today, the Antelopians are a scattered and diverse race, united by their shared heritage and values. They are still nomadic, but have learned to thrive in a wide range of environments. Their strength and agility make them formidable opponents, while their keen senses and deep connection to the natural world make them invaluable allies to those who share their values.

Appearance

An Antelopian adventurer is likely one of the more eye-catching members of their party, due to the frankly impressive variety of physical characteristics they exhibit. There are numerous colors and patterns possible; as well as different shaped horns, and even fur or tail types. Antelopians still heavily resemble their primal ancestors, with unguligrade legs ending in cloven hooves made for traversing wilderness terrain with ease. Their hands resemble prehensile hooves with four distinct digits, making them capable of wielding any object or weapon that a human can. Unlike many of their wild ancestors, horns are not exclusive to males.
