Homebrew Canus (Gabe's Version) Species Details
"Man's best friend."
— King Frederick II ("Frederick the Great")
Canus, a type of dogfolk, are small creatures that are a variant of the Tabaxi with certain halfling-like features. Unlike the Tabaxi, Canus tend to be smaller, dog based, and retain different traits genetically and biologically. They are essentially bipedal dogs with humanoid minds, yet still retain certain doglike characteristics in general such as high loyalty, hatred for squirrels, and a wholesome demeanor.
