An aarakocra is a human esque being in the way that they stand in two feet, basically their a bird, that can speak common. This is similar but more human, almost a 50/50 split of human and bird

Avian Traits

Because of the large wings you fly faster than walking, and swim slower because of the excess weight of the wings

Incraesed speed

Because of the large wings on your back, your flying speed is larger and you have a longer endurance for it. Can be used to survey large areas with no trees or thin tree tops. They can also take off with and without a push off.
