Homebrew Breton (Lore Friendly) Species Details
Bretons hail from the province of High Rock. The descendants of the Merethic Era Aldmiri and Nedes, these human-looking half-elves live long lives. Bretons have a strong attachment to the mercurial arcane and the supernatural, so it's no wonder some seek knowledge within the darker, more forbidden texts of Tamriel. The domain of Hermaeus Mora is quite enticing to these individuals, and he sweetens the deal by giving them gifts and power, should they seek it.
Breton (Lore Friendly) Traits
ALL Bretons, regardless of creed or class boast a resistance to magic from their Altmer blood, as well as strong Nordic flesh, gifts from their ancestors.Altmer Magic Resistance
As a result of your Elvish bloodline, you are resistant to all magic and will have advantage on spell based saving throws. Additionally, you may cast the spell "Counterspell" at will ONLY if you are being targeted specifically.
Nordic Toughness
As a result of your Nordic bloodline, you have thicker skin than most, allowing you to absorb more damage than normal. Additionally, you may use the "Dragon Blood" ability to heal 2d10 hp once, daily, which will reset every dawn.
Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and two other ability scores of your choice each increase by 1.
Darkvision
Thanks to your elven heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Skill Versatility
You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
