Homebrew Velociraptor Species Details
Quick, intelligent, and proficient in hunting and tracking, the Velociraptor is one of the most feared creatures of its kind, despite being relatively smaller in size compared to other dinosaurs. The Velociraptor is a carnivorous, bipedal lizard with long, sharp claws on its hands and feet. They are easily identifiable by the long and protruding curved claw on each of its feet. These creatures are some of the most intelligent amongst the dinosaurs, traveling in packs of up to six, and no less than three. Much like wolves, Velociraptors will always defend another of its kind, especially when one calls for help with its loud and unique bark. Because they are so intelligent, some velociraptors have been known to learn to understand other intelligent creatures, though they have a hard time speaking other languages themselves. They tend to stick to their own kind, but a velociraptor who decides to become your traveling companion will almost certainly be loyal to the death.
