Homebrew Aquaian Species Details
Aquaians are a race of fish people that originate from tritons but where separated by a god and the gods ability to separate the seas to most land people the seas are just titles to parts of the oceans but to the gods the seas are what keeps the creatures and gods of the depths separated
Aquaians are the tougher of the fish like humanoids adapting to heat cold and even some fey magic they are the stronger of the fish at the cost that they have a strong dependency and a very small size because they adapted to be dexterous and dodge fights instead of fighting them

They have a 35 foot walking speed and swimming speed and can breath and see underwater
Full body adaptation
You have resistance to cold damage and you take 1 less damage per dice rolled when taking fire damage
Ocean adept eyes
You have a darkvision of 120 feet and you have advantage on perception checks with colors but you have disadvantage on attack roll and perception checks when out of water and in sunlight you can also see some uv lights
Horrors beyond human comprehension
You've been forced to mess with cthulhu shit your whole life you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened and saving throws to keep your sanity (you only have advantage to avoid not to end)
Emissary of the sea
You can communicate basic ideas to creatures with a swimming speed but you must spend a bonus action doing this you gain the ability to do this at level 3
Water dependent
You need water and can last a number of hours out of water equal to (your con mod x 0.5 minimum of 1) if you do the whole time you gain 5 temporary levels of exhaustion and you can lose thos by being in water for 1 hour if you are out of water for 1 hour after the 5 level you drop to 0 hp and can only be healed if put in water
