The Da'aren were the commercial centre of the Pact Alliance and had a monopoly on most services and means of production. Their culture was all about big shows of wealth, often spending vast quantities of currency to show up their rivals, friends and even acquaintances. Flashy and obnoxious statues adorned in rare and exotic gems, pelts and woods line the halls of their offices and public areas. They often underestimate fellow businessmen based on the way they appear and the flashiness of their offices.

Short stature, large nature

The Da'aren do not see their physical stature as any kind of limitation, more like something to brag about if they can utilise the same equipment as bigger races. Loud, brash and vain you always know when there is a Da'aren at the party you’re attending. They pay for things that don’t need paying for just to let you know they can.

Silver tongues and silver blood

Smooth talking charmers, the Da'aren will always try to barter and get a discount. This can lead to some very heated debates and even fist fights. Da’aren are taught to be noble and flexible but to never accept less than the value of an object or service, this leads to many a disagreement either going to court in the case of large businesses, or the duelling arena in the case of civil disputes.

Religious freedoms and paying for indulgence

Unless money counts as a god, the Da'aren could never care for the beliefs of the Path of Six, but the laws of the RIRC demand at least recognition, and what better way to recognise something than to pay them off and you’ll rarely find a Da'aren who cares for the gods.

Da’aren names

Da’aren naming convention is relatively simple. They have a given name and a clan name. Clan names tend to be two nouns or a noun and an adjective stuck together.
