You Aren't like other apes. For some reason or another, you are sapient. Perhaps some powerful mage wanted an intelligent servant. perhaps a traveling group of adventurers decided to cast awaken on you for their amusement. perhaps you simply woke up one day and don't know why. whatever the reason, you've left behind the life of a beast in order to become and adventurer

Awakened Gorilla Traits

You are agile, able to climb and those long limbs allow you to reach out further than a normal man in a fight

Arboreal Climber

You are well adapted to a life among the trees. you have a climbing speed of 30.ft

Mountain climbing

You have proficiency in the athletics skill

Dexterous feet

Your feet can serve as a second pair of hands. They have a reach of 5ft and can lift a number of lbs equal to 5 times your STR score. You can grasp things with your feet and can use them to do the following simple tasks: lift, drop, hold, Push, or pull an object or creature; open or close a door or container; grapple someone; or make an unarmed strike. your DM might allow other Simple Tasks

Your feet are also dexterous enough to handle tasks that require manual precision, such as using tools or performing the somatic components or spells, but they cannot wield a weapon or shield. While holding something with one or both feet. your walking speed is halved your climbing speed is also halved unless both hands are free

Rage Pound

You can use your action to make a leaping attack. You leap 15ft horizontally and pound the ground with your large fists. All creatures within 5ft must make a DEX saving throw. The DC is 8+ your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus. On a fail, each creature takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone, and half as much on success but isn't knocked prone. The damage increased to 3d6 at level 6, 4d6 at level 11, and 5d6 at level 16. After you use rage pound, you can do so again until after a short or long rest
