Homebrew Aingeal Species Details

The Aingeal were a race that produced the fiercest of warriors and the fairest of rulers. One day, not long before mankind had developed written history, they vanished from all the legends. They were believed to by myths, but every few decades there would be an incredible figure that would possess abilities that seemed supernatural. They were referred to by many names, one frequently used name being demigod, though some are believed to be gods. These people are from all classes of society and all religions, ethnicities, and lands of the world. Humanity was correct in these extraordinary figures being supernatural, but they were not bred from the likes of gods, but from the likes of the Aingeal. There are very few pure blooded Aingeal left, however they have many children of mixed race. They are portrayed in history as being abnormally tall and possessing an incredibly pure aura, one that conveyed pure emotion. They could instill you with fear, joy, sadness, or anger. This was used in many ways, everything from giving hope to failing armies or swaying political decisions. The abilities of these peoples were not genetic however, each person has their own unique auras that are influenced by decisions and events that happen in their life. These "Auras" are an extension of their soul and mind making everyone's aura uniquely theirs. These people can sense and see these auras and even occasionally manipulate them.
