Homebrew Child of Hades Species Details
Most of these children come up looking pale and malnourished, waiting for their next task. They give of a creepy vibe, but are always willing to lend a hand to the living. Their jobs are to take care of the dead, so they're always hanging out around graveyards and other spooky places.
I've had one rise up out of my corn fields to take my dead animals to their father. Although I was spooked, they weren't as evil as the stories tell. They apologized for what happened, but said it had to, and then vanished. Quite spooky, if I recon.
In the reckonings of most worlds, children of Hades are seen as older and quite scary. Perhaps it is because of their off-putting appearance, or maybe it's because of their father, but either way people fear them. However, most are doing what they are told, so there's not too much to fear.
A Broad Spectrum
Like humans, there is not one size fits all for these children of Hades. An individual can stand from 5 feet to a little over 6 feet tall and weigh from 125 to 250 pounds. Most of these children are pale with dark hair and a mixture of red, black, or purple eyes. A lot of Hades' children are half-bloods, created when Hades rises to the mortal world.

Posted Jan 4, 2021I know this is kind of late, but I imagined the God Hades, from Greek mythology. I was not aware there were so many Hades, but I did not imagine the child being born from a monster. Here's a link to more info, let me know how your campaign is going!
