You can use your bonus action to take flight as long as you are not wearing medium or heavy armor and have ten feet of clearance above you or in the direction you intend to fly. When you use this bonus action you gain the movement type Flight and you may move at a speed of 50 feet. On subsequent rounds you can choose to use your Bonus action to continue to fly or to land. If you continue to fly, make a Strength (Athletics) check as part of the bonus action; if you succeed then you can continue to fly with no consequences. If you fail, you must either land or continue to fly and suffer one level of exhaustion.
