Due to your nature as a construct, you have no need for food, drink, or air (though you can still eat and drink as normally). In addition, you do not need to take a full 8 hours of sleep - instead, you can enter an inactive state for 6 hours. While in this state, you are not considered unconscious and can see and hear as normal. You also cannot be put to sleep via magical means. 

Due to your magical nature, you have the ability to see in the dark out to 60 ft. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Seeing as you are carved from stone rather than flesh and blood, poison and disease does not affect you normally. Because of this, you have resistance to all poison damage and advantage on saving throws against poison. In addition, you are immune to disease. Your stony skin also gives you an additional +2 to your Armor Class. 

As a creature of stone, you are more physically resilient than other races. Your Constitution score increases by +1, and your Strength score increases by +2.

Stone Golems exist outside of age. Theoretically, Stone Golems can live forever, so long as their form continues to hold up and the magic that brought them to life is active. Because of this, the full lifespan of a Stone Golem is unknown. In addition, you cannot be affected by spells that magically age you, since there is no flesh for them to change. 

While you are no longer beholden to your master, many Stone Golems still find themselves leaning heavily towards order. Some Golems take it in the opposite direction, however, specifically rebelling against their nature and striving towards chaos. Stone Golems can also fall anywhere on the spectrum of good to evil, and - much like mortals - are influenced by the people and choices in their lives.
