Homebrew Argonian (An-Xileel) Species Details

The Argonians, also known as An-Xileel or People of the Root in their native language, are the reptilian inhabitants of Black Marsh, a vast swampland province in southeastern Tamriel. While other races often derogatorily refer to them as lizards or the Lizard Folk, the Argonians are renowned for their expertise in guerrilla warfare, developed over centuries of defending their borders from various enemies.

The Argonians, under the nationalist state of An-Xileel, initiated an invasion of the Blackforest and successfully besieged Leyawiin for an extended period. They gained control over significant portions of the Nibennay Basin and have planted their Hist trees. The secretive state has been in hibernation behind their forests since, a beastly threat at the Empire's doors.
