Homebrew Canifae Species Details

Canifae

Canifae are a race of canine-like humanoids known for their speed, agility, and keen senses. They possess the grace and elegance of their feline counterparts, the Tabaxi, but with a distinctly canine appearance and behavior. Canifae are highly adaptable and often make excellent scouts, hunters, and guardians.

Physical Appearance: Canifae resemble anthropomorphic canines, standing on two legs with a digitigrade stance. They vary in size, from smaller breeds like dachshunds or foxes to larger ones such as wolves or Irish wolfhounds. Canifae have fur that comes in a wide array of colors and patterns, including solid tones, spots, and mottled patterns. Their eyes are bright and alert, often reflecting their emotions and focus.

Keen Senses: Canifae possess heightened senses, much like their animal counterparts. Their keen sense of smell allows them to track prey and detect hidden enemies. Their sharp hearing grants them an advantage in detecting faint sounds and distant voices. Canifae also have excellent night vision, making them adept at navigating in low-light conditions.

Swift and Agile: Canifae are known for their remarkable speed and agility. Their nimble movements make them exceptional runners, leapers, and climbers. They have a natural grace and balance, which aids them in traversing difficult terrains and maintaining their footing even in the most treacherous environments.

Pack Instincts: Canifae have a strong sense of loyalty and cooperation ingrained in their nature. They value companionship and thrive in packs or groups. Canifae adventurers often form deep bonds with their allies, displaying unwavering loyalty and a willingness to protect their comrades at any cost.
