Dawnseeker Changeling Traits

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Ability Score Increase

You get a choice to increase either your Charisma or Wisdom by 2. You can also put one into each score instead of placing two points into one single score.

Strange Mist

A strange ability that only seems to appear upon reaching adulthood. You are able to alter your apperance further, creating this black mist or shadows around you. The shadows can hug onto every inch of your skin (minus your clothing). With this you can also hide your nose, mouth, and eyes but are still able to use them as you normally would. You can also slightly alter the shape of your teeth to become sharpenend to a point. Doing this costs a bonus action and it remains this way until you do so again with another bonus action.

Shapechanger

As an action, you can change your appearance and your voice. You determine the specifics of the changes, including your coloration, hair length, and sex. You can also adjust your height and weight, but not so much that your size changes. You can make yourself appear as a member of another race, though none of your game statistics change. You can't duplicate the appearance of a creature you've never seen, and you must adopt a form that has the same basic arrangement of limbs that you have. Your clothing and equipment aren't changed by this trait.

  • You stay in the new form until you use an action to revert to your true form or until you die.

Magic in the Blood

You know one cantrip of your choice from the Sorcerer spell list and can cast it an unlimited number of times. Starting at 3rd level, you are given the choice to learn the spell 'Wither and Bloom' or 'Blur' with this trait. Once you cast it, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
