Homebrew Aeorkin Species Details
Aeorkin were the first humanoid race to walk on the newly created continents of Frozorld, created by dragons soon after the gods went dormant for the first time. They created great civilizations on the northern continents, ruling over the rest of the humanoid races.
Appearance
Aeorkin have a line of spikes running from their forehead to the base of their spine and then along the top of their tail. Some of them are hairless, while others have hair on their heads. None of them have facial hair; instead of eyebrows, Aeorkin have bony ridges. Their ears are pointed. They have thin hands with long fingers but their feet are lizardlike. They tend to be tall and thin.

If you create an Aeorkin character, follow these additional rules during character creation.
Aeorkin Traits
As the ancestors of elves and dragonborn, and the descendants of true dragons, Aeorkin share elven and draconic traits. You have the following racial traits.Ability Score Increase
Your Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
Languages
Your character can speak Common, Aeorian, and either Draconic or Elvish. Aeorian is an ancient language that uses a proto-Draconic script but vocabulary more similar to today's Elvish.

You are a humanoid.
Size
Aeorians tend to be taller than humans, ranging from 5 foot 6 inches to 7 feet, and also tend to be more slender than humans, with a more elven build. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your walking speed is 30 feet. You also have a swimming, burrowing, or climbing speed determined by your ancestry.
Swimming Dragon Descendant
You have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed. You or your ancestors were created by amethyst, black, bronze, gold, green, topaz, or white dragons, and your draconic features reflect that.
Burrowing Dragon Descendant
You have a burrowing speed equal to your walking speed. You or your ancestors were created by blue, brass, emerald, crystal, sapphire, or white dragons, and your draconic traits reflect this.
Climbing Dragon Descendant
You have a burrowing speed equal to your walking speed. You or your ancestors were created by blue, brass, emerald, crystal, sapphire, or white dragons, and your draconic traits reflect this.
Lashing Tail
Your prehensile tail is covered in spikes. Immediately after a creature within 5 feet of you deals damage to you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make an strike against that creature with your tail. If you hit, you deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier.
Darkvision
You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
